View mapsOffsetting in Practice: Visit to a Social Housing Retrofit Project

UKGBC are organising a series of events aimed at giving a practical and real understanding of carbon offsetting to our members. To do this there will be multiple events that allow members to visit projects in-person, ask questions to the project owners, and understand the reality of offsetting in greater detail.
This second event is about how carbon credits can be used to fund social housing retrofit projects, supported by HACT.
The structure for the day is as follows:
- 11.00 Arrival at Saffron HQ for a quick presentation of Saffron, the work they have been doing and the support of the Retrofit Credits
- 12.00 to 13.15 Visit retrofit sites
- 13.30 to 14.30 Lunch
- 14.45 to 15.30 Back at Saffron HQ for debrief, Q&As and conclusion
